ECHO 9’0” #5DC is ECHO’s first Distance Competition rod. It can handle the power needed to airealize a lot of line. The result is a rod that extends the distance of most people who try it. The rod has a downlocking anodized aluminum reel seat to "lengthen" the rod, and oversize stripper guides to reduce friction. It can also be used with a #6 line to fish for big trout or in light saltwater situations. It has a medium fast action.
The Echo #5 Classic Ultimate Distance rod was a late arrival last year, but still earned world-wide recognition and became one of our top sellers before the tackle year was over.
